That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yay, Liese!!!

Marty is the blond, thin guy?

Yep.

I think I like the woman who sang Bohemian Rhapsody a couple of weeks ago the best.

That's Suzie. Love her.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I ran up and down the hallway with the Biscuit. I may be overreacting slightly.

Yay for running water, Liese!

Suzie. Thanks, ChiKat. Yes, I like Suzie. I also just like the name Suzie, so that works out well.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Overreacting to WATER? I don't think so.

Nah. That's super!

Honey, you're in the desert southwest, you spent most of the past year mysteriously running out of water (or having it show up in the wrong places...) you've got reason for your reaction.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Yay running water! Heaven knows I'd be celebrating if I'd gone any time at all without.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

He's close to becoming a Miami Beach reserve officer; he was getting fitted for his uniform. And his goal in life? To become a city police chief or county sheriff. I kid thee not.

That's really cool, especially since presumably he could spend the rest of his life doing nothing but frolicking in his piles of money if he so chose.

Though, if I were in his place, I'd still want to write books. I just wouldn't need that pesky day job thing, and I'd probably always worry that only my fame had enabled me to sell my books.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Congrats, Liese!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hee.

Oh, and Strega, I checked, but the one rerun I saw was at 9 AM. So. Not helpful.
