What about them upsets you, Steph? Life endangerment or bad medicine?

What is even happening?

Oh, Teppy! Neither can I. I spent the first week after I watched House pretty sure I had trichinosis (sp?) every time my leg so much as itched.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Vaguely-defined Buffista-us. Them as grok both the elbows-to-the-head and the makeup. I realize that may actually be a small subcommunity, now that I think of it, but it was a damned good movie.

I can't stand watching people suffering, whether the patient or the patient's family. Plus, I convince myself that I have whatever horrible ailment the patient had that week. (See below.)

Oh, Teppy! Neither can I. I spent the first week after I watched House pretty sure I had trichinosis (sp?) every time my leg so much as itched.

Bingo! I was all "*I* might have trichinosis! How would I know? The character didn't know! I might have worms in my BRAIN! How would I know? I eat ham! Oh my god, I EAT HAM!!!!! Nooooooooo!!!!"

So it's better for my sanity and blood pressure if I don't watch.

Steph, It was [spoiler removed]

Ouch. But that's pretty much the quintessential "Hallelujah," isn't it? I figured that would be it.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I eat ham? Oh my god, I EAT HAM!!!!!

If ever you get sick of your octopus woman tag, I think you have a replacement.

I'm actually partial to the John Cale version. I do love the song, but every show and their dog has used it in the last 5 years.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I can't handle medical dramas. They upset me far beyond any enjoyment I might get out of snarky Hugh Laurie. So, while I understand it's v. v. good, I can't watch House.

Tep is me.

Flukeworms in the brain, my friend. Not a pretty picture.
