What about them upsets you, Steph? Life endangerment or bad medicine?
I can't stand watching people suffering, whether the patient or the patient's family. Plus, I convince myself that I have whatever horrible ailment the patient had that week. (See below.)
Oh, Teppy! Neither can I. I spent the first week after I watched House pretty sure I had trichinosis (sp?) every time my leg so much as itched.
Bingo! I was all "*I* might have trichinosis! How would I know? The character didn't know! I might have worms in my BRAIN! How would I know? I eat ham! Oh my god, I EAT HAM!!!!! Nooooooooo!!!!"
So it's better for my sanity and blood pressure if I don't watch.

Ouch. But that's pretty much
the quintessential "Hallelujah," isn't it?
I figured that would be it.
I eat ham? Oh my god, I EAT HAM!!!!!
If ever you get sick of your octopus woman tag, I think you have a replacement.

Flukeworms in the brain, my friend. Not a pretty picture.
Sue, now that you mention it, maybe I'm confusing
the versions. Which one is the one that gets used the most? Cale or Buckley? I've heard them both, but now I can't call either one to mind. I'm a freak, b/c my favorite version is by Ari Hest.
But that's pretty much [spoiler removed]
::cries::
Although I'm fond of
the Cale, COHEN, PEOPLE. Sheesh.
Steph, I think most used is
either Buckley or Wainwright.
Plei, I'm well aware of the
Cohen -- and I like it -- but I thought the Buckley version (or Cale?) was the one that gets used the most.
t edit
Agh! I don't like the
Wainright. Or the Dylan. And definitely not the Bono.
Man, I just don't like ANYTHING.
