Oh, and I love beets in all forms and always have. Raw, cooked, pickled, pureed--all good.
They're sweet and frequently a bright red, people. What's not to love?

Awesome, full rainbow right outside my office window.

the taste. but then, I don't like cooked carrots either
Will this day ever END?
No.
Well, technically, it probably will, but I will be insane from boredom by the time it does.

Not too shockingly, I also love carrots. In all forms, blah blah blah.
I'm convinced that the white-ish carrots (OMG, so good), juiced, would be the best ever substitute for milk. So rich and creamy!
I think the flock of ghost puppies has killed me beyond all hope of resurrection. My boss should just give me the rest of the afternoon off.
ION, my grandparents were so pretty!
I pretty much like anything pickled, honestly. And anything tart or sour or like that. For the most part.
As a toddler, I loved raw onions (whole), but I've mostly gotten over that.
Boss just left. I might be following her pretty soon, 'cause I'm tired and fidgety. We were just working out vacations and the holidays, and I find out that taking Christmas off is out, since out of the four of us in the department, one is going to be gone home to the East Coast for Xmas (as usual), and the one who's usually her backup is going to be on maternity leave in December, so that just leaves the boss and me to cover. I did put in for Thanksgiving week off, as well as a full week the beginning of October. Which leaves me with 10 1/2 days left still--I'm thinking about taking this Friday off, and maybe a few more this month.

Now I want carrot soup. Mmm, yummy.
How do you make carrot soup so it's good? I often like it a lot out, but can never get it right at home. Anyone got a good gingery recipe?
