I'm saying that Krispy Kremes are like eating salt-lick sized pieces of sugar, where Top Pot... isn't. My pancreas doesn't seize when I eat a Top Pot.
And Dixie's/Porter's is not barbeque. It's pulled and chopped sadism.
But I do think Texas/Oklahoma barbeque is quite good, because cow is good eatin' (apologies to Hindis in the room).

I have realized that I like my own buttercreams better than those at Cupcake Royale, and as their cupcakes are merely delivery systems for the frosting, I have no actual need to go there. I think I'll try the Cook's Illustrated basic yellow cupcake recipe soon, for when I don't want chocolate.
I love Top Pot, especially the filled ones, but I think I need to learn to make my own doughnuts.
