No, not the consumers of cupcakes. The bakers in that article.

move out and draw fire

that the trouble with the guy is that while he is good at politics, he stinks at governance

The thing is, Bush's "Mandate from the People" wasn't to take care of Americans. It was to kill terrorists. Or Iraqis. Whichever. Brown people, anyway. The body politic almost always selects against a governor and for a politician, and in Bush's case, Americans made it extremely clear they would forego all manner of federal care (see also: national debt, Patriot Act) in order to have a President who would kick some furrin ass.

if foreigners decide to send their little brats / political correctness crap / Kids today are too lazy to learn

You just can't get wound up by someone who uses value-laden phrases like these and then says "I mean no disrespect." They are either liars or stupid. I'm voting liar in this case.

I know that when your ma ... and your pa/uncle/cousin...sent you and your eighteen brothers/nephews/cousins off to be schooled ...they didn't explain how there'd be people who weren't related to you out there in the world.

BWAH!!!!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Really, if they just sent all the cupcakes to me, the war would be over. Granted , I would have to share, or I would be dead from cupcake overload, but I think I have a few volunteers. ( I am guessing 300 cupcakes would last about 3 days at the library) ( I swear, I've never seen people eat so much junk food) ( libraries survive on junk food) ( librarians get really sad with out junk food) ( evenrything in () is not really being said - just thought)

Silence means security silence means approval

New York City is in the midst of a cupcake war.

Heh. We have Cupcake Royale, and that's good enough.

In fact, around my office it's between Cupcake Royale and Top Pot Donuts. I'm starting to like Top Pot more than Krispy Kreme. Krispy Kreme doughnuts are cloyingly sweet, where the breadiness of the Top Pot doughnut dances in harmony with the sweetness of the glaze.

Ann, that's a ferret.

The thing is, Bush's "Mandate from the People" wasn't to take care of Americans. It was to kill terrorists. Or Iraqis. Whichever. Brown people, anyway.

Not to mention that, as close as the last 2 presidential elections were (complete with non-frivolous allegations of foul play), not that strong a "Mandate from the People" in the first place.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

most wireless providers have. they finally realized that the #1 reason that people stayed with their provider is because they didn't want to lose their number. Now that's not an issue, they've straightened up.
Exactly. Of course, now that they've straightened up, I don't want to change providers. Bastards. They should give me cupcakes.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The Cupcake Cosa Nostra. Evil, but tasty.

Bill Forsthe's movie Comfort and Joy was about an Good Humor-type truck war in Scotland, where the mob runs all the ice cream trucks.

Not as good as Gregory's Girl or Local Hero (One of the best movies ever!) but it has its moments.
