You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

billytea! It's your birthday?!? Why haven't you told Nilly?

Oh, I have (prior to just now, I mean). But like I said, it's only just gone my birthday in Australian time. Both Israel and the US are behind us, so the board and Nilly are still on the 12th.

What is even happening?

And as of 18 minutes ago, I am 36 years old +, lessee, 0 days. Yep. I'm a square! A square of a perfect number, no less.

Happy Birthday, billytea!!!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

so late for work today. my bed seemed like a much better place to stay this morning.

It is supposed to reach 90 degrees today. A little warm for September.

ION, the work I have been swamped in and had to come in on Saturday for just got a glowing review from teh people it went to. YAY team!

I wantto be flakey today and not do much, but I just got a new stack of work and have 2 client calls about important stuff that I have to do, so I best snap to it.

Everything IS about Nilly!

I think I'll let you have your birthday (which is, by the way, not in my file - would you like it to be?). I'm generous that way. Plus, if I let it, it's still about meMeME, right?

some of the ultra-Orthodox Jews, but not others

How come some Orthodox Jews give importance to a general date, with the years counted with regards (in whatever way) to Jesus, whom no Orthodox Jew that I know of likes?

Mine won't get any cooler than my birth year

Raq, it will, when you're a hundred years old!

Now tagless for your comfort.

whereas hockey players have great balance from all those years of moving v. quickly, and often backwards, while wearing thin metal blades, and moving on a slippery surface. Plus? They're born to fight.

Hockey is like rugby, but faster, and with walls to crash into.

Also, on ice.

Cindy, Nutty and Nora have nailed the essence of my love of hockey. Although I'm quite enjoying the beginning of football season, too.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I live in the Central Time zone, and it's weird to me that 3/4ths of the earth is ahead of us, time-wise.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Timelies. I have skipped like Hec in a dirndl. Happiest of birthdays to those that have had them.

Hockey is like rugby, but faster, and with walls to crash into. And yes, throw-a-punch, buy-him-a-beer type of insane camaraderie.

Word, and why I love both games so.
