Dawn: I thought you were adequate. Giles: And the accolades keep pouring in. I'd best take my leave before my head swells any larger. Good night.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I live in the Central Time zone, and it's weird to me that 3/4ths of the earth is ahead of us, time-wise.

Coding and Sleeping

It's hip to be square.

Suddenly I thought of another worst song canidate.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Timelies. I have skipped like Hec in a dirndl. Happiest of birthdays to those that have had them.

Hockey is like rugby, but faster, and with walls to crash into. And yes, throw-a-punch, buy-him-a-beer type of insane camaraderie.

Word, and why I love both games so.

Gah. I didn't mean to associate BT in any way with a worst song candidate.

BTW, do folks know that it's no fun being an illegal alien?

What is even happening?

How come some Orthodox Jews give importance to a general date, with the years counted with regards (in whatever way) to Jesus, whom no Orthodox Jew that I know of likes?

Maybe they have a thing for nines the way some people have a thing for seventeen?

Now tagless for your comfort.

The mathy types will find this funny--I was on the computer last night and DH asked me to look up the definition of a math term for him. He wanted the specific definition of copula. I swear, I thought he said copulate--which is silly because I knew what that word meant but I thought there was som freakish math-related use of the word.

To be fair, though, I'd just spent five hours in a car with a toddler.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Suddenly I thought of another worst song candidate.

Today Max played a special on atrocious songs, entitled What Were They Thinking? I like that title. Anyway, I feel obliged to nominate the entire oeuvre of Michael Bolton, including "I Said I Loved You (But I Lied)", and "I Want To Touch You... There".

Oh, and 70% of the hymnbook of the FAC.

Well yes, it's multiplication. That's the name of the game. And each generation, you know they play the same.
