I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay! I got food! And just in the nick of time, too. The most exciting thing I got, though, is a hands-free cellphone thing at the dollar store, for use at tonight's Alias-themed birthday party.

Now to figure out how to get the videotape out of my VCR while it makes it (and the TV) turn on and off rapidly. I knew there was a reason I wasn't using the VCR.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

What I should do when I leave work is go home and:

- do some work in the flower gardens including planting the two rose bushes that are sitting and probably dying in my entry way.
- clean up clutter on the floor of my apartment.
- run the dishwasher.
- change the sheets and hang up clothes.

What I think I might do instead is go watch some Firefly episodes with friends and then go home and bake cookies (Oh, I could run the dishwasher while baking, so not a total loss).

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I like your last idea. I really have a yen to make cookies (and I'm going to a football party tomorrow so I have somewhere to take them and not leave them around for me to eat) but I've lost my cinnamon. How does that happen? I used it a week ago and now? Gone.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

3rd ranked U of M just handed a win to 20th ranked Notre Dame, breaking something like a 19 game home turf winning streak, and handing ND their first win at Michigan stadium since 1993.

President Bartlett will be pleased.

I made it to bed around 8am. I got up about 1/2 hour ago. Must shower now.

Perkins, take your drive. Don't wait for me.

This one. Clothes-washing and clutter may attend to their own selves.

well the watching with friends is more up to them as they are their DVDs and we will watch at their home. But hopefully that will be the plan.

Man, if only.

I've barely made a dent in the clutter, haven't even begun the clothes washing, and I'm practically drunk.

(Well okay, three beers, and I'm about to go grab a fourth. But I have dealt almost entirely with the living room clutter, washed dishes, vacuumed, hung two pictures, and dusted. I need something a lot stronger than beer before I even contemplate the bedroom, though.)

Bah! A heap for everything, and everything in its heap. That is my drunken philosophy.
