Man, if only.
I've barely made a dent in the clutter, haven't even begun the clothes washing, and I'm practically drunk.
(Well okay, three beers, and I'm about to go grab a fourth. But I have dealt almost entirely with the living room clutter, washed dishes, vacuumed, hung two pictures, and dusted. I need something a lot stronger than beer before I even contemplate the bedroom, though.)
Bah! A heap for everything, and everything in its heap. That is my drunken philosophy.
Yeah, that's the kind of wooly-headed liberal thinking that got me into this mess.
I am updating my resume and writing a cover letter so I can apply for the job I am currently doing. Kill. Me. Now.

ETA -- "Off to school" means have they started going to school this term, not that you're sending them there on a Saturday. That would just be mean.

Sad now. My drive plans changed anyway. I'm going tomorrow instead of today, and I'm going to go south and west instead of north and east. It's not as long a drive, but it is just as pretty and this way I get to see some friends and maybe have pie.
That means that I need to t snicker clean and t giggle make up a grocery list and go shopping and t guffaw do laundry today.
I am also making a hilarious CD for my friend getting married in a couple of weeks. It's all the cheesy love songs we liked in high school. Her husband will hate it.
I am not, as of this particular moment, inebriated. Unlike Brenda, who is chugging beers and glaring at dust motes and disorder with a baleful eye.
Actually, that sounds like a lot effort. I think I might get drunk and sneer at the the disorder of my house. Sneering can be very restful.
Hee. I have a tape like that that my best friend made. If I might suggest a cheesy title, mine's called "Misty Water-coloured Memories."
