I impressed a guy at my high school reunion with my knowledge of Ron Jeremy, back before The Surreal Life.
My brother said when he was watching "The Boondock Saints" with my parents, my dad snickered in recognition when Ron Jeremy first appeared on screen. My mom wanted to know what was funny and my dad kept insisting it was nothing.
Putting all of that aside .. how cute is erkija?
This cute!
And with Gussykins we're talking some MAJOR armspan.
Are we trying to scare Cash with tales of sibling rivalry? I adored my sisters from the second I met them. Utterly. I considered them MY babies. For my fourth birthday I wanted a big Holly Hobbie doll and a little Holly Hobbie doll. Whenever someone asked me what I wanted that's what I said. Finally, my Father said, "Honey, you usually only get ONE doll for a present. Why do you want two?" "The big one is for me, and the little one is for Baby Sarah." (Apparently I explained this to him in a very patient tone. I got both dolls.)
I have no younger siblings. My sister is 14 years older. It was like having two mothers. shudder
Come to think of it, this may be why I never wanted kids... no little siblings to practice on.

hmmm...
after the sisters I had a succession of cousins and I want babies HARDCORE. I wonder if you're onto somthing?
I'm the younger sibling so I wonder how my bro reacted when I came home.
Sarameg, I'm smiling at the thought of Las Cruces = Juneau.
Okay, I lost my copy of the Aeneid. I haven't read it yet and I was supposed to have finished it by tomorrow. So, should I go to the bookstore now to get a copy because it's better to have one to at least page through to follow along on the convo or should I just say fuck it?
waves at Ginger in a way that is both salacious and correct for a cover of "Boy's Life"
OK. This is turning into "Who is more ancient than whom?"
I am an ancient geek.
I
win,
in a way that is too feeble to collect the prize.
I vote for going to the bookstore, buying the Aeneid and then buying something fun.
Kat, can you get it from the Gutenberg Project and maybe take it with you on a laptop?
I bought new shoes today because the shoes I wore to work (1) fell apart (2) killed my feet. So I already have the fun (OH! and I returned the boucle A line dress from target... it didn't fit even 2 sizes up from normal. Hell 2 sizes up from a formal dress size I normally wear. So return it was. Perkins did you keep yours?)
Zenkitty, I think I could, but I'm supposed to have a specific translation, so it might be easier if I just paid $4.99 and got the book. Even though the thought of leaving my house is totally bumming me out.
