Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

This isn't a war, because wars end...

I am ready to come up against the side of the head of a "number of very bright but geeky people..."

I am a geek. My geek flag flies. I do not want to get all political up in here, but I hass to say that ...

War sucks.

However, you knew that.

Putting all of that aside .. how cute is erkija?

This cute!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yesterday I didn't feel well enough to do the dishes I got dirty, so I left them in the sink. This morning my friend J. who lives far away but goes to school about a half mile from my apartment came by between classes (she has a key, and full permission to come by any time), and she DID MY DIRTY DISHES.

I'm a teensy bit mortified.

How long until the Newman song about the '27 flood is rewritten to 2005?

Macabre, perhaps, but I'm just waiting. They had Randy Newman on NPR this morning afterall.

You know what? Though it is amazing to pass through history and have historic events as timeposts in my life that impact me emotionally (where I was when...), it kinda sucks. My parents had McCarthy, JFK, MLK, Malcom X, JFK, Watts riots, Watergate. I have, thus far: Challenger, fall of the Berlin Wall, fall of the Soviet Union, Sep 11, Columbia and now, Katrina.

History SUUUUCKS.

The concept of apartment brokers is freaky. I mean, I get it, but....different market.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I'm a teensy bit mortified.

Dude, I'd be doing the Snoopy dance.

Our wings are not tired.

When we brought Christopher home, Julia just stood on the hearth, shaking her head "no".

I was 11 mo old when my brother came home. I hit him in the head with a hanger. We get along a bit better now.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

One of my friends, at age 3 (or maybe 2 1/2), tried to bring her new baby brother to the exchange counter at Macy's.

Check it, beloved. Some of of us have all that and are waiting for the next thing.

By the time I realized what a pain my sister was going to be, it was too late to send her back. I was initially lulled by multiple readings of the Little Golden Book "The New Baby."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Some of of us have all that and are waiting for the next thing.

We're due for a good one next, right? Right?!?!

One of my friends, at age 3 (or maybe 2 1/2), tried to bring her new baby brother to the exchange counter at Macy's.

Love it.

My mom did my dishes one time that she stayed with me. I figure it's a "thanks for letting me use your place" gift.
