"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Okay, I had to fast forward through the Vegas stuff in Swingers.

Vince Vaughn used to be so cute!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I'm here...though I shouldn't be.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

How's it going, Maria?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Teppy, I thought of you at the wedding we attended on Saturday. We were sitting at a table with two women we never met before. One asks the BF, "So when are YOU two going to get married?" We say blahblahbothdivorcedalreadycakes and the woman says we SHOULD get married. The BF says we have been together 12 years, so it's working for us. At this point the OTHER woman we never met chimes in with "I went with a guy for 14 years. He dumped me and 2 months later married someone else." To which we said ."Oh." because what else are you going to say?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Maria! I was just thinking of you today while doing my face. Did you choose a foundation to wear for your wedding?

Teppy, your mother's family is bogarting the craxxy, and I think the HP fandom wants it back.

I'm better, Perkins. Wishing I could join you in a scotch right now...

Robin, that's just ugh. I thought DF and I got a lot of grief for being together 5 years without the "Do you's? I do's," but it's no one's place to make a comment if YOU are happy with where you're at.

Whole wheat Chex (since I have to be healthy right now):

Plei! I decided on having my makeup done. My sis recommended a day spa/salon close to the house/church/hairdresser that does a good job. We'll see how it goes on Friday--the trial run.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Shame if anything were to happen to it...

Swouncing

t Waves to the new thread

I'm already not caught up. How sad is that?

I had to Google the name of the thread, so at least it's educational. But I can't TA it today at class, so I'm going to go back to Newton's laws.

[Edit: I need to mention how special it is for me to get a double-digit post #. Also, that it's 56, which is 7*8, and it probably the one product of the multiplication table that I have to think in order to remember, and the way I think it is the consecutive digits, but backwards, with the 8 and 7 ending up with 5 and 6.]

[Another Edit: and again, an Edit which is longer than the post itself. Sigh.]
