But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

t Waves to the new thread

I'm already not caught up. How sad is that?

I had to Google the name of the thread, so at least it's educational. But I can't TA it today at class, so I'm going to go back to Newton's laws.

[Edit: I need to mention how special it is for me to get a double-digit post #. Also, that it's 56, which is 7*8, and it probably the one product of the multiplication table that I have to think in order to remember, and the way I think it is the consecutive digits, but backwards, with the 8 and 7 ending up with 5 and 6.]

[Another Edit: and again, an Edit which is longer than the post itself. Sigh.]

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

because what else are you going to say?

You could've asked what she did to scare him off.

I have no cake. I do however have a very dirty apartment and 2 days to clean before I have visitors.

So, Nilly, did Google give you the gun or the band?

Both. First it gave the band, but I figured that the band must be named after something, itself, so I kept digging. The "." before the "38" was a hint for a gun, too. [Edit: and I've learned that from movies/tv, so they're educational, as well.]

I assume it was the gun DX was thinking of when he suggested the name.

Maybe we'll also get Colt .45 and (so Israel can represent) .50 Desert Eagle. And the next generation of Buffistas will see .357 Magnum.

Hmm, say it takes roughly a month to burn through a Natter thread (very roughly - we're here for almost 3 years, and finished 37 Natter threads). So 357 months, or 357 Natter threads are nearly 30 years (from which we already gone through 3). Your Mal will be around my age by then!

Timelies! It's almost gronklies, but I'm beating back the gronk with some Kashi oatmeal and the love o' my kitties. Who mostly want to be fed, I suspect, but I'll take what help I can get.

I can't even.

Gronklies, all!

Woke up early due to the construction still going on outside my window. Somehow I hoped that almost three weeks away for vacation would have meant they had it mostly done. Sigh.

ION, back from vacation and going into work in an hour or so. I'll be going in as a blithe and relaxed spirit. I intend to try to stay that way for as many minutes as the office sitch permits.

Sounds like a plan to me!

I can't say my weekend was restful (well, technically I can say it) but it was accomplished, what with the cleaning and the other cleaning, and the laundry and the shopping and the setting up of electronics. My new! phone is programmed with numbers, iBob has music imported, I'm dressed (with shoes!) and ready as I'll get for work....

Welcome back, JohnSweden. Good luck on your plan.
