Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

In good news form this horrible storm, I heard a story on NPR this morning about the elderly residents of the flooded out Gulfport Veteran's home, who all got bussed up to the DC Veteran's home ,which has apparently got room and is a beautiful place. Residents lined the sidewalk with flags to welcome them.

Oh, -t, I'm surprised you can even TYPE. I'm so sorry about your Grandmother. I'm so happy your parents came and just GOT you. I don't care if I sound like I'm four, but nothing is better than Mommy and Daddy just scooping you up (even if they can't actually make it all better).
