There is a weird thing about calling for women. I know women that get offended if they're not called EVERY day after going out with a guy. But I also know women who, if they get called more than once after a date, they get pissed.

He's a tennis player, Kat. Had the year from hell, what with shingles, breaking his neck, and his father dying. But he's doing pretty well so far at the Open (I'm slightly time shifted, so please don't spoil me).

I must echo what Trudy and others said upthread, that your approach may have not have been her speed, but it does not make it wrong. You gotta go with who you are. You weed out the losers quick that way! And, yes, you totally rock for asking her out.

Well, they think. At least he was. His daughter identified that picture of him, but nobody's heard from him, and they don't know where he was brought or where he is now. It's like he was taken to the Superdome, which is the last block of Okay, right next to Hell, from the sounds of it.

This is SUPER TRUE. Even if not losers, people not for you. I have a friend who always wants to have a big "where is this going" Talk at like three months, and I've always figured, when she finds the ONE GUY ON EARTH who isn't scared right off by that, he'll be the one for her.
