Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Thank god they don't have opposable thumbs.

Bet they're just hiding them.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Pity about the opposable teeth.

Pity for the gulls, I mean.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Pity for the gulls, I mean.

It happens. They're gulls. And edible. I shall call them -- well, gullible, I guess.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Trudy and ita are right, Tom.

And Allyson is The Prettiest.

Oh, Tom. I'm so sorry.

I'm sending mad love vibes to Jilli. I too am skipping all posts that have nothing but hurricaneitis. I just can't go there and do all of the other stuff I need to do in order to make it through the day. Natter has been weather-report/hurricane report for a couple of days and I'm just breezing past. Also, I have to say when I'm looking for hurricane info, Buffistas isn't on the top of my list of where to go.

Steph, a hurricane free bitches sounds appealling!

In non-related news, I'm royally fucked. I have to write an interview that was due yesterday and a report that was due today. Neither of which are finished. GRR. Stupid work, infringing on my other stuff.

James Blake used to have cool hair. I'm a sucker for the boys with the wacky hair, even when I know it mightn't be the most flattering. But now he has the sexiest hat, and I can't find a picture! I'm so ... well, shallow.

Who is he? He has good eyes.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Sorry, Tom.

There is a weird thing about calling for women. I know women that get offended if they're not called EVERY day after going out with a guy. But I also know women who, if they get called more than once after a date, they get pissed.

I'm so fucking glad I'm not single anymore.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Fats Domino is okay. [link]

He's a tennis player, Kat. Had the year from hell, what with shingles, breaking his neck, and his father dying. But he's doing pretty well so far at the Open (I'm slightly time shifted, so please don't spoil me).

Fats will live to play pool another day!

Tom -- yeah, it's a minefield. I swear, the things that other chicks like that drive me nuts, or the things that I am charmed by that other women would find wrong? I'm surprised there aren't more single people. And not surprised that I'm one of them.
