Let him do his thing, and then you get him out. No messing with him for laughs.

My recent experience suggests that reading up on exposed-to-risk is effective.

I recommend drugs, orgasms and alcohol.

All things considered, I think I'd go with Hec's plan.

Though, as I spent most of last night awake, and therefore most of this morning pissed off, 1 paragraph from "Conflict in the Cold War" did me in for a good 2 hour nap. I still don't get the political-science-theory difference between "war is a possibility" and "war may occur." But the author thought it was vitally important.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

He has gone completely out of whatever tiny little mind he had, hasn't he?

"We don't need another $200-billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator," he said of the democratically elected Chavez, who is a frequent critic of U.S. foreign policy.

That's kind of a condemnation of the Iraq war, if you squint and look at it sideways.

Robertson has made controversial statements in the past. In October 2003, he suggested that the U.S. State Department be blown up with a nuclear device. He has also said that feminism encourages women to "kill their children, practise witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians."

The first part of the above para made him really popular around State, let me tell you. Up there with G. Gordon Liddy advising people to aim for the head when shooting at federal officers.

PR spouted off with the second part of the above para a few months before I had a chance to meet him. I declined the invitation for fear I'd go across the buffet table at him with a wooden stake and an axe.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Timelies,

As of 3-something this morning, I am 29. I'm not sure how I feel about that yet.

I did have a blueberry muffin for breakfast this morning, though, so at least things have started off right.

Much ~ma to Gloomcookie and tiggy's families.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

FWIW, he's been a vocal critic of the war since the get-go. But it's good to know that the craxy was just in hiding, and we're now back to the Pat we know and abhor.

Always Anti-fascist!

Until I read about the retirement plans, bt, I was like "Oh, I wish somebody would do that with ME." But, actually, would not really enjoy that particular part of the equation so to mitigate my bitter over my uncoupled state, I'm gonna pretend all couples do that, and then being single won't be sad.
