Always Anti-fascist!

Until I read about the retirement plans, bt, I was like "Oh, I wish somebody would do that with ME." But, actually, would not really enjoy that particular part of the equation so to mitigate my bitter over my uncoupled state, I'm gonna pretend all couples do that, and then being single won't be sad.

brillig

Didn't Robinson also say 9/11 was God's judgement on America for allowing gays to exist.

Happy Birthday Kalshane! 29 is a good year.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Didn't Robinson also say 9/11 was God's judgement on America for allowing gays to exist.

Among other things (ETA -- like feminism and environmentalism). It's the reason I consider Robertson the head of the "Blame America First" crowd.

Thrive to spite them

I'm pretty sure Robertson also claimed that the hurricane's last year were punishment from God for Disney's policies regarding partner benefits and for the state in general being gay friendly.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Didn't Robinson also say 9/11 was God's judgement on America for allowing gays to exist.

Now, now. The feminists and abortion-lovers are part of that too.

Among other things. It's the reason I consider Robertson the head of the "Blame America First" crowd.

Doesn't that term usually refer to those who t gasp felt that US foreign policy contributed in some small way to the situation we find ourselves in? I generally hear it in the context of "why liberals are destroying America and apple pie."

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

"We don't need another $200-billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator," he said of the democratically elected Chavez, who is a frequent critic of U.S. foreign policy.

I really like the authorial commentary in that sentence.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Didn't Robinson also say 9/11 was God's judgement on America for allowing gays to exist.

IIRC, it was Falwell who said it on Robertson's show.

sarameg - Aug 23, 2005 6:03:19 am PDT #405 of 10002

I really wish the loonies garnered no airtime.

The evil is this way?

IIRC, it was Falwell who said it on Robertson's show.

Both said it -- or one said it and the other agreed.

On the upside, Jon Stewart's The Daily Show will pretty much write itself tonight.
