Yeah, it's true. I can't believe how quickly I've got here. From when Bec and I broke up, from when I started dating again, from when I first met AS. Three weeks ago, I had no knowledge of her existence. Now we've compared retirement plans.

I know I've been mostly a lurker around here lately, but I've somehow kept up with the Wally reports. I'm so happy for you and think you deserve so much happiness. I can read the smiles in your posts!

Timelies everyone!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I hope you got some sleep, Steph.

Perkins, I hope the pancakes are delicious and the root canal goes quickly.

Thanks. Me too. Especially the latter.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Ooooh, I appear to be working at home this morning, in anticipation of the nice men who will arrive bearing my new stove.

The plumber's service call consisted of them pulling the stove out about three feet, turning a stopcock, and unscrewing a coupling. This cost me $123.76 (which includes $60 which will apply to the return visit to connect the new stove).

Someone remind me why I thought computer programming would be a high-pay low-effort career.....

Swouncing

Poking head to wish Perkins the most minimum painful root canal ever, with the shortest time and the least unconvenience.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm also impressed with the effectiveness of Plan Wally. bt's gone and put serious work into practical date finding and cultivating. It's rather instructive/inspirational/etc. When I get my ducks suitably rowed I may try to follow his example.

ETA: Much health~ma to tiggy's family. What a scary thing!

My new cousin-in-law is a plumber! I have this secret plan that when I buy a house, I'm gonna invite him, my once-was-a-historical-rehab-contractor uncle, and my SIL and her construction contractor dad to visit and put them all to work.

.... yeah, I know it won't really work. But I can dream.
