Okay, I have a problem. I received two cakes for my birthday. Two chocolate cakes.

I cannot eat all this cake. I am thinking of freezing pieces of cake. Does this work? Any recommendations?

oh yeah, and I need to leave work at noon on Friday and have family plans all weekend, so there is NO WAY I am gonna catch up. Just wish I could snag about 5 hours to crank through some of this.

I think freezing cake should work, just make sure it gets back to room temperature before you eat it.

Also, be sure to get as much air out of the container as possible. Freezing a slice of wedding cake and eating it on your first anniversary apparently is a thing. So it does freeze.

I'm on day 3! How can I be behind already?
