After reading a friend's, er, former friend's blog yesterday, I'm kinda pissy about the attitude the coasts have towards Flyover-Jesusland. Former friend said, in effect, that the people in Mississippi deserved to die because they were stupid and didn't vote the right way in 2004.
I don't like what these morons are doing, and I'm hoping and praying it fails, but answering their contempt and vitriol with contempt and vitriol is counter-productive and the terrorists have already won and think of the children.

Plus I'm guessing that many businessess will decided that a theocracy wouldn't have the best environment for their employees, and thus would locate elsewhere, putting the economy of the theocracy in the toilet.
For example, it'd be difficult to have a work environment supportive of gays and lesbians in a state that puts gays and lesbians to death.
