Joyce: You don't think it's too obvious? I think I look like I have a cat on my head. Buffy: But a very well groomed cat. Joyce: Well that's a comfort.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

It could be a cruise, Puerto Rico or the BVI, unless he's keeping another destination up his sleeve. We nixed Hawai'i because of the length of the flight, and Italy because we know we're going to travel there often.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Those all sound like fun.

I'd be happy with any of them. DF's only requirement was the ability to play a round or two of golf. The only problem is the potential for hurricanes, but hopefully I impressed upon him the need for travel insurance if a trip to the Caribbean is planned in October.

gothrabilia

You mean I made it up? Because that is what I call my t-shirt with the bat on it and the blouses made by the goth seamstresses and stuff. I guess it's spending my teen years around antique dealers...they have categories for everything. I gave birth to a word today. Cool.

You did indeed make it up, and may I please use it as a tag?

move out and draw fire

Chiming in with a couple votes for the GCS to address the tolerance issues. I have so many friends who ARE goth but do not dress goth, (and also a fair number who dress goth but aren't goth), and the gothy ones take such abuse from the babybats out and about.

My DH is one of the True!Goths, but does not look the part, and got sick of the eye-rolling from kids who can't name Siouxsie's band. So he got me this shirt ( [link] ). I wear it as part of a full urban-goth outfit, as I like the irony.

From Raq's link, I know it's sick, but I love this shirt: [link]

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh, that's great. It almost makes me want to have a child so s/he can wear that....

Someone please tell me to go to bed. I have to drive to PA in the morning, and I haven't packed yet. Oy.
