I think Jesse's Law is one of dictating how one should behave, and yours is an assessment of behaviour.
Basically, you should have a cage match.

I'm not dictating nothing! I just like it.
I do think Kat may be on to something, looks-wise, though.
What happens to Jesse's Theory of Parity when the members of the couple change as they age? Some people get better-looking as they get older, and some don't. Some keep up with their studies (remain interested in life) and some become couch potatoes. If you start out with couple-equality, you could still end up with Mr. and Mrs. Sprat.

Then Jesse thinks you should get divorced.
I think I really mean "going together" when I said parity. Because in the classic loud-woman/quiet-man combo, they aren't the same, but they work so well together. For example.

I dunno, but I do know that not all couples stay together forever.
Then Jesse thinks you should get divorced.
No no! I don't think you SHOULD get divorced! I think you might grow apart and WANT to get divorced.
I just wrote a long post in which I manage to disagree with myself, and my browser killed itself in protest. I think this is a sign that I should go finish my grading so tha tI can watch "Charile and the Chocolate Factory" tomorrow.

So you're saying that people that work well together should date?
Sounds pretty controversial to me...

This is why I don't understand the controversy. If you see a couple where one is way better looking than the other, you can be sure there's some other element balancing that out. I mean, right?
In work news, my back-from-vacation boss has yet to give me anything to do, but he is confident he could use me for extra hours next week. @@
I never understand the way people seem to think that they need to point out to you facts about yourself.
or ask you stupid questions like "when are you going to get married" or "why aren't you married". I always want to say "because I so enjoy this line of questioning that I wouldn't dream of finding happiness so that I can always hear it"
oh, and I'm like ita -- you have to give me a clear signal that you want to given a positive response, no matter what the truth is.

Nope. Maybe looks aren't important to their dynamic. Maybe one of them really does have all the power/"good stuff", and that's how they like it.
