Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So he'd wait until their parties really got going, sneak down, trip their circuit breakers and sneak back quickly to his darkened apartment, while the drunk frat boys stumbled around trying to figure out why their electricity had cut out.

I've done that once or twice.

Art Crawl!!!

Happy Anniversary Jessica and Fone!!!

ION, I have downloaded GoogleTalk. I like the little talk bubble that it uses. I've invited three people who I know that have gmail. So far, nobody has accepted.

I am a leper.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sumi, I plan on doing that this weekend, and then we can form a leper colony.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Sumi, I plan on doing that this weekend, and then we can form a leper colony.

I'll join the leper colony next week, when the RFP O'DOOOOOOOOM isn't hanging over my head.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

mini-meara:

This is from Lulu Eightball and is weirdly about Buffistas or certainly could be!

I am totally strung out on grammar!

Bwah! I had "Strung out on grammar" as my tagline for a while.

Cass, I'm sure someone's suggested flexoril -- it's my "Oh, fuck, who needs to be conscious anyway?" painkiller of choice, and a muscle relaxant to boot.

So on the list now. A little lapse of consciousness that takes away the pain and spasms sounds nice.

Bloody hell. Cass, did I *not* recommend flexoril to you? It's a freaking wonder drug. I swear I thought I mentioned it.

Cass, my lower back spasms have always responded well to Robaxin.

Robaxin is methocarbamol, which (I think) Cass said doesn't work for her at all.

We've discussed in brief both taking an overseas holiday next year, and moving in together,

Ye gods, billytea! When you make your move, you move FAST!

I learned all sorts of depressing US reading and book stats. For example, only 1 in 3 US adults bought a book last year

80% of all books are bought by 20% of all people.

60% of high school graduates never complete a single book after leaving school.

Just last week, walking past the smokers gathered outside my office, I overheard one of them say "I've read 5 books this year!" Mind, last week was mid-August. So, 5 books in 8 1/2 months.

I always forget how much of a freak I am that I can (and have, and do) read 5 books in 2 weeks.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Bloody hell. Cass, did I *not* recommend flexoril to you? It's a freaking wonder drug. I swear I thought I mentioned it.

You did, because I made a note of it in case my back stuff flares up again.

Now tagless for your comfort.

ION, I have downloaded GoogleTalk. I like the little talk bubble that it uses. I've invited three people who I know that have gmail. So far, nobody has accepted.

Does that work with Windows ME?

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

And I'm all fretful about Hec, whose job has been almost nonstop vile for the last few months and whose insomnia is much worse.

My temporary solution to a similar problem has been the liberal application of both beer and Deadwood DVDs.

Not only do I get to drink and watch violence, I get to say to myself, "Well, at least you don't have smallpox like that sorry cocksucker."
