I caught her on a park bench, making out with a *chaos* demon! Have you ever seen a chaos demon? They're all slime and antlers.

Kristin! I've been thinking about you a lot lately, with the beginning of your time in the new job! How is it going?

Well, though very hectic and overwhelming. Also, we have crazy-making amounts of orientation and professional development before the students show up. I had two days of new staff training last week and a full week of whole faculty meetings etc. this week. My head is spinny in the bad way. It's a bit much considering how much I have to accomplish before Monday.

It is funny, though, to be surrounded by Hebrew speakers. I kept wishing you were around to tell me what the heck everyone was talking about!

Perkins, I'm not yelling, because even the top of my lungs won't do for this whole ocean-apart away. But I'm thinking it very loudly.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

that's not me - that's just me trying to figure something else out. That's Joss and Tim and what they had to say.
Not to me.

The characters are Tim and Joss. The character's words are Tim and Joss. And I adore both of the characters and their words.

But your reading of the relationship and interactions are what I was referring to and marked so I could go back again and again to read.

Also, I have no idea where and why I wrote that thing you posted
I'm not recalling either. I might have to do a search. But tomorrow as tonight I am tired and since tomorrow should be a better day than today, sleep is for the best.
It's amazing to me, how words can cross so many barriers and actually mean something so such different people who lead such different lives. That's some sort of magic, right there.
Yes, magic... I think it is why they fascinate me so much.

Words can be shape shifters. Different for each person.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Thanks Nilly.

I think I am going to try the sleep thing. I hear good things about it.

Sleep well!

Seeing as I have to get up in less than six hours, I think bedtime is in order for me too. Goodnight all.

Kristin, I hope things calm down for you, or at least your clever pretty head stops spinning and realize that it totally can do it. And on time, too.

I kept wishing you were around to tell me what the heck everyone was talking about!

Oh, is there any Hebrew word you'd like to know how to say? I taught ita to say "brown belt" last year.

Night, Perkins! Night, Cass! Night, Kristin!

(Cass, maybe it was about Inara? In "Shindig" or "Out of Gas" or "Heart of Gold" or "Trash", all of which may include relevant plot points to such a though?)

Oh I hope the spins stop and the wonderment takes over. Also that you get everything done more easily than you expect.
Hey, I'm going to see you soonish. Yay!
Yay! And BOING!

I want to stay and talk but my nagging mind is starting to do math. How long until my alarm goes off in the morning? If I fell asleep Right Now, how much sleep could I get. If two trains leave different cities heading toward each other at different speeds, when and where do they meet? It's the bad math.

I think so. It sounds like Inara and her relationship with Serenity, and by extension, her unspoken relationship Mal.

Goodnight! It was lovely talking with you tonight.
