If you log into buffistas.org, you get a cookie that remembers what your login name is. However, when you log into www.buffistas.org, you get a completely separate cookie.
When you clicked on the "vote now" link, you probably switched from buffistas.org to www.buffistas.org, and switched logins.

I was just looking at the Buffista Links page and noticed a number of duplicate links. Don't know if it has been like that forever because I haven't looked at the page in a while.
Yeah, we know about that. Unfortunately, it took us a little while to figure out that hitting [delete] actually creates a duplicate link instead.

Ah. I thought it had likely been noticed, but I hadn't seen it. You could have told me I had double vision and I would have bought that explanation.
On my Mac, using Safari, Raq's last post in the firefly thread is messing up the next two posts by indenting, as if they were quoted text.
Same on Firefox.
And IE6 for Windows.
There was a strange carriage return in her post, which is now gone. I can't even begin to imagine what that did to the HTML.
