Woe to the fucking wicked.

Do we have a standard fix for "The board keeps logging me out"? I've tried switching to "don't remember me", then, when it logs me out again, logging in a switching to "remember me" again. Several times. And other rather similar things. No love.

This has been happening since Trudy logged in on my computer.

Could your cookie now be set to remember Trudy?

Try blowing away the cookie and logging in.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

This has been happening since Trudy logged in on my computer.
Happened to me after she was here as well. Can't remember what I nuked to finally solve the problem but damn did my computer not want to forget her...

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I deleted some cookies and it seems to be better. Thanks, Sean.

What is even happening?

There was a little formatting weirdness on one of my posts. I put a double line break (with the enter key, not with a t p ) in this post, after the word, "Strega."

When I posted, there was no break between that, and the next paragraph. I clicked on the edit button, assuming I'd just forgotten to put in the double line break, only to see it was there (you know, in the editable text). So I hit "post message" and returned to Natter, only to see that it still wasn't showing.

I went back into edit mode, put in two more line breaks (for a total of four) by hitting the return key twice more, hit "post message" and now it shows up as two.

Don't know if it's wonkiness on my browser's part, or if it matters, but I thought I'd mention. Post in question: Topic!Cindy "Natter 46: The FIGHTIN' 46" Aug 7, 2006 10:23:18 am PDT

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I deleted the extra hard returns, Cindy, and it seems to look fine. I'm not sure what made it weird for you.

What is even happening?

It looks fine now, ita, so I'm not sure, either. Just random weirdness, I guess. Thank you.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I just got a dial-up connection at home (believe me, several entities are no On Notice), and I'd like to that the tech-types behind this board, which does load so very smoothly. I know it's been said before, but dayum.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Still doing that thing where the system completely ignores your choice of folder when starting a new thread. Works fine when you edit it.
