What is even happening?

ita, you'll have email saying the same thing, but I was just unable to reach the board for a couple of minutes. Here's the error message:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_PRINT, expecting T_STRING in /home/httpd/vhosts/buffistas.org/httpdocs/classes/quote.php on line 289

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I was getting the same thing.

Me too.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

And I just got it a couple of more times.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Ok, I don't think I'm having the same issue as you linked to, DX, because I just posted in Literary, and, when it went to the thread after posting, it showed my post, but I was logged out.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

This is not a complaint/please fix it post, but I am curious about something. In some posts, like this one, Perkins "Spike's Bitches 25 to Life" Aug 8, 2005 9:59:50 am PDT, my tag appears right under my name, with no line between it and my user name, but in others, like this one, Perkins "Spike's Bitches 25 to Life" Aug 8, 2005 10:16:03 am PDT, there is a space between them (at least on my work browser).

Why is that?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How wide is your browser window? If the post header is just about the width of the screen, then the slightly longer header sometimes triggers a pretty useless space below it -- try widening the window and see if it persists.

I thought of that, but it happens even when both posts from the same day and thread are on the same screen. Shouldn't the width be the same for both?

Did widening make a difference?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

They all look the same to me, but I have a wide browser window. I think ita has the right of it. The only thing different that I can see is that there's one extra character in the post header because of the hour.
