Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The link editing functionality should be working for link owners now. Please holler if it's not.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

damn it. everytime I click on a NAFDA thread I get the NAFDA FAQ.

Can we add, "get Allyson a personal secretary to check threads throughout the day and email posts of interest" to the list?

I was going to mention that (not the secretary thing, you're on your own with the wetware) -- I've almost clicked on the NAFDA myself a few times. Maybe the link is better at the end of the slug, or only in the thread description.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Huh. I usually click right in the middle of the thread link, so it's never an issue.

Right now, the search algorithm works by relevance, which is a cloudy concept. I want to add in the ability to flip the order (ascending/descending) or to order by date.

I'm thinking that date order is a good default, but confusing to people used to relevance.

However -- ascending or descending?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

descending

Hey. New board.

Every time I use the search feature, I'm personally quite surprised that it doesn't sort by date. That's how I'd like it to work - most recent first.

hip deep in pie

What D. Griswold said. Most recent date first. (Descending?)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I liked sorted by date.
