We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Can it be rejiggered so that only subscribers can post to the lists?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Yup. Already done (for [Somervillains]).

I figured as much. I just wanted an excuse to use the word "rejiggered".

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

And I thank you for it.

Of course it means I still have to go in and manually discard the spam from the system.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Speaking of mail lists - is there any way to get a list to reject all mail not from a member of the list (i.e. spam) without sending the admin of the list an email every day that says, "28 Midwest admin request(s) waiting," or somesuch?

eta: Not sure, but I think this is an x-post....

If there is, I haven't found it.

When I first set up the new Lost thread, I specifically selected "Film and TV Discussions" in the Folders combo box. When I hit update, the system ignored the selection, and put the new thread in the default folder instead. I had to go back and edit the record to get it into the correct folder. That worked fine.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Have we created threads directly into that folder before? Was VM created after folders went up? I don't remember a problem then.

I'll look into it, but I can't promise speediness.

I don't think it's a priority. We don't create a lot of foldered threads, and the work around is easy. I just wanted to mention it.
