There doesn't seem to be any way to search in a closed thread.
I just wanted to echo Tom Scola on this.
It's not important in terms of the stability of the site or what have you. I wanted to search for some conversations with amyth, though. If adding search to closed threads isn't a heavy lift, it would be nice to have.

I think they may just be a bug.
Okay. Sorry to have bothered you, Gud. I know you're working so hard.
We could add a priority flag to the thread metadata and then show flagged threads first.
I would like that because I don’t think to scroll down to those threads and check. On a monitor, I could glance right and see if Beep Me or Press has new message because those would be my top priority reads.
I know things are busy but if when there is time this is possible, I’d like it.
The tiniest of tiny bugs, but if we could get a favicon up in here, it would make the tab much easier to find amid my mountain of tabs!
