My ssh key stopped working.
Edit: never mind, I’m in.
Do you have problems, concerns, or recommendations about the technical side of the Phoenix? Air them here. Compliments also welcome.
Hmmmm. Changing my tagline worked okay (and I got a "saved" notification at the top of the screen when I did that) but saving changes to my Profile->View screen does not give me a "saved" notification, and indeed the changes made there did not take effect. Same result in Chrome, IE11, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. Same result after logging out, clearing cache&cookies, then logging back in.
Running Brave on Windows 10: Version 1.16.68 Chromium: 86.0.4240.111 (Official Build) (64-bit)
The sidebar is also not working for me, on latest Edge for Windows. The checkbox does not persist.
Regarding GUI changes - I know that it's not possible to incorporate custom stylesheets as easily as on Phoenix, but maybe we can poll for some of the most popular things and incorporate them into the View options. Some things I expect might be popular:
1) dark mode 2) visible spoilers 3) narrower width (this one is me - I personally like the desktop look better with body set to a max-width of 1000px or so)
I like styling, so I'm willing to try fiddling with this.
3) narrower width (this one is me
Me too! Also, not sure if this is viable off of style sheets or whatnot, but I'd like to go back to a cooler blue rather than red.
Hmm... The left menu checkbox works for me in both Chrome and Firefox. There must be a bug somewhere, but there doesn't seem to be a pattern I can detect.
I think adding more view options would be a good idea. Please feel free to contribute work.
Annoyingly, the DNS changes need more time before I can get a certificate.
When I get a chance I'll open tickets on Gitlab. If you have/get a Gitlab account, you can also report bugs and make feature requests directly.
Bug: Left menu checkbox doesn't always persist.
Enhancement: More view options and/or custom stylesheet.
Enhancement: Footer buttons that match the header buttons.
The menu checkbox - could it be user-level, not browser-level? Like it's not saving into the database for some users for some reason?
Seems likely, but I'm not sure why it would be different, still something must be different.
