Same here. When I generate the reset password email and reset to the same password as used previously using that link, then I am in. This was the case the last couple times I went in. Windows 10 desktop computer.
So was this after resetting the password for an old account? Sorry, just trying to figure what might be going wrong. Maybe the error reporting isn't working so you are going back to the login screen with an error but the error isn't displaying. That would look like it did nothing.
Yep, after the password reset.
Cool. I can't really work on it right now while I'm at a conference, but I'll take a look soon. I appreciate the QA :)
I'm going to try to fix up the problem migrating bookmarks which is kinda complicated because there's only one table for posts in the new board. After that, I'll look at this login problem. I tried and failed to reproduce it real quick, but I haven't had time to really try to figure it out. Getting crushed at work right now.
Taking down the beta site for a bit for updates.
Beta site is back up with improvements.
Everything should migrate now, thread positions, bookmarks, subscriptions, blocked users, the lot.
Because I migrated the entire database was reset and I used the same data I used before so this is a journey back in time.
Let me know if you still see the login problem after resetting a password. So far, I haven't been able to reproduce it but I was looking at a newer code base.
I'm still seeing some issues where special characters aren't right either because of migration or HTML sanitizing so there are still a few bumps in the road. However, I think it's getting pretty close.
Made a minor update. For the first time the title of Sang Sacre appears correctly.
Moved beta board code to a new repository so I could open it up again. Re-added Tom. Tried to re-add Gris as as well, but I had problems. If you want back on, shoot me an e-mail Gris and we'll figure it out.
If anyone else wants to be added to the project, shoot me an e-mail and I can help you get set up.
At the moment the project is fully private, but when I get a chance I'll make some aspects of it public such as issue tracking.
I subscribed to the new Goodbye thread, and my unread messages in that thread show up on the board as *all* the messages in that thread. The number keeps climbing, even after I've read new ones. All the other threads I'm subbed to are behaving normally. Ideas? Help? Suggestions?
