No problemo. By the way, there was no similar text on our Registration page, but if there's somewhere else it should go, please let me know!
Buffistas Building a Better Board ++
Do you have problems, concerns, or recommendations about the technical side of the Phoenix? Air them here. Compliments also welcome.
The beta board has been updated with the ability to hold votes. I also added a proposal for testing it out.
When there is an open proposal a green button will appear in the main view. If you click on the button there will be a list of active proposals and when they expire. If you have not voted on a proposal, the there will be a vote button. If you have voted on a proposal then you will see the current tally.
For admins, there is now a 'Proposals' section where you can see proposals, create new ones, edit proposals, open or close proposals, and delete proposals.
On the beta board, how about including the year in the time Stamps?
The year is included now.
Next, I'm moving onto finishing up migration.
If anyone sees other stuff to fix, let me know.
Admins, please make sure you have admin access (you will see the Admin option on the top navigation bar) and check out the admin section for missing features and bugs.
Non-Admins, let me know if you are able to get to or see any of the admin stuff.
Techies, please try to break the security. I closed several security holes, but I feel like I shouldn't detail what they were.
Also please check to make sure you can't get to stuff you shouldn't when logged out. I set things up so you have to explicitly designate that something is available to a non-logged-in user, but there are a lot of potential routes on the site and I could have easily messed up a couple.
Is Read New working?
Edit: Oh, I see, I'm not subscribed to anything.
I'm sorry to interrupt the upgrade talk.
When I click "Log out" in the upper lefthand corner, the board refreshes (at least the random quote does), but I remain logged on.
I could clear all my browser date, but I don't want to log off of everything else. Also, I'm a little afraid if logging off doesn't work, that logging on (at a later time) might not work, either.
I'm on a MacBook Pro 2018, running Google Chrome Version 69.0.3497.100 (Official Build) (64-bit).
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there something I can do to fix it?
Logging out is broken, but logging in still works fine.
