The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Maybe we should make them red folders, or yellow folders with red triangles on them.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Can we change the folder name from "Film and TV Discussion" to "Film and TV Discussions"? This is really bothering me for some reason. Maybe because "Discussions" suggests more that there are multiple threads to be found therein.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Me, I think the word Discussion looks royally dumb there under Discussion Threads, but Discussions while not meaning anything significantly different to me, looks no more dumb.

I think when it was under the Subfolders bar, having Discussion in the link title was good, if not entirely necessary. But now, yeah, good point. Not really necessary.

Arrows, folders - both good. Arrows are more aesthetically pleasing (to me), I guess, but either way.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Why not call the folder "Film and TV Threads"? That would make it similar to "Closed Threads."

I prefer the arrows, but it's just a mild preference.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

My thought as well. I don't have a strong preference on arrows vs. folders. The arrows are better visually because of the spacing thing and the color is pretty.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Somebody's post in film is making the page really wide. I can't tell for sure, but it might be Hec's.

eta nevermind - it's been fixed.

Duplicating the spacing with the folders is easy.

Aesthetically, I like the fact that we don't use cute icons to represent things. The triangles seem to fit in better with the overall look of the site.

Can we make them circles or boxes instead, if that's the thrust? I think triangles have a meaning that's not in effect here.
