Our technical operations team is constantly working to improve our services. As part of these improvements, we will be performing a scheduled maintenance on the host machine where your web VPS resides. This maintenance will take place this Thursday, the 31st of March, starting at 7AM PDT. The maintenance will take up to 2 hours to complete. In most cases, downtime is usually less than 5 minutes, however there can be up to 30 minutes of downtime (in a worse case scenario). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause!

I commented out the session_register lines in the code. I don't think they were doing anything.
Maybe someone else who knows a little more about php could take a look at classes/user.php ?
