Do you have problems, concerns, or recommendations about the technical side of the Phoenix? Air them here. Compliments also welcome.

but if you had marked it while it was at the bottom of your window, you're still shifted around. Also this? How many posts are you getting in your window at one time, because with all the headers and everything, I'm getting two, tops.
But that isn't how it used to work, at least not for me
Never said it was. I said it was a potential change. Your browser bumped you to the top of the page. Mine didn't. So I was always looking at the post I marked, plus I didn't have to go read more posts to keep up with the system's "marked read."

In this thread right now, with an un-maximised browser window, four.
ita, have a look at the admins mailbox. Looks like someone is trying to be cute.
I guess it's possible that they're missing the whole point of a registration e-mail, but they would be the first in ... 1650+ users to not get it.
Maybe a bot?
I think I might just nuke them. If the person wants to register properly, they can start from scratch, with a valid e-mail address.
Maybe a bot?
That's what I'm thinking. All random letters, and all at exactly the same time.
edit - And I agree about nuking.
Yeah -- the DB entries have about two seconds between each. And one of the user names is, in full, "tkvqjbs@buffistas.orgContent-Type: multipart/mixe"
Zapping now!
I like that it now takes me back to the post I just marked. It doesn't bother me that it puts that post at the top of the page, but taking it back to the same post at the same place would be just as keen. I just really like not having to scroll around to find the post I just marked.
Not that I'm opposed to user-selectable stylesheets, but why are people opposed to Verdana? Every webdesign class I've had recommends using it, as it's whiskered.
but why are people opposed to Verdana?
I dislike the way it looks. I think it's ugly, and would prefer to use a different font.
