The tiny slugs on the left column might need to be changed. I can see why "Tech support and site development." versus "Administrative discussions" might be confusng for someone who wasn't around when it was set up.

Do you have problems, concerns, or recommendations about the technical side of the Phoenix? Air them here. Compliments also welcome.
It is, but only ita and Scola have the keys to the kingdom; they deal with anything back-end or that needs actual programming. The rest of us stompies deal with anything that can be handled through the interface, which includes stuff ranging from new threads through editing errant posts and the occasional hand-smacking of a troll.
The only stuff that should be going in this thread is what needs ita or Tom's attention; i.e., major shenanigans. Even minor tech stuff should just get logged in bugtracker, where they'll see it and can deal with it through channels. That is to say, default to Bureau. If it needs to be escalated to here that's not a big deal, but it keeps it cleaner for the tech folks to have someplace to watch that only fires up if there's a, ahem, fire.
Has anyone else had a problem with consistently getting logged out here on the iPhone?
Can someone please kill my post 16713 in Natter? I can't edit or delete it. (my <a> tag had a single quote and a double quote surrounding the URL.
eta: Also, it's screwing up the page display.
I need a Stompy to delete the first of my two Wordslinger posts in Links: Buffista Businesses.
It ends in "...focus."
I can't edit it, and I can't delete it. I created a second one, which is fine.
Halp? And sorry.
Stompies live in B'cracy. Techs live here. However, if you're reporting a bug that you entered a link and can't edit it--please go into more detail so we can troubleshoot.
Thanks, ita. Will do.
I was able to delete it. But I don't know why Erin wasn't, so it might have been a bug. Only I deleted it. So now there's nothing for you to look at. Shall I bugtrack entry it anyway?
I had a similar experience recently when I couldn’t delete a post that had an inexplicable error (I have html coded a link, but something went awry), so it may be a bug.
Does anyone think it would be useful if there was a timestamp (board time) of the time the page loaded? So you could easily look and see what time it was about then, versus the time of the posts on the page?
