Do you mean left justify it in the same line as Read New? That's very busy. It would have to be a separate line to prevent the possibility of over(lap/flow).

I think a background (maybe the same pale yellow we use for the sidebar) would look less cluttered than the box.
The pale yellow is up. Un-outlined it's almost invisible on my laptop.
That made me realize that I can barely see the pale yellow on my screen. Huh. I do like it like that, though, and would even if it were more apparent on my screen.
Oh, I like that! On my screen it's just visible enough to make that line distinct, but not so much that it's cluttered.
Does this new colour spoil it for you, Jessica? I'd like to be sure more people are getting differentiation. I was not, effectively.

No--I didn't change it from #FFFFCC to #FFFAB9 until just before I posted ita "Buffistas Building a Better Board ++" Apr 8, 2009 10:19:58 am PDT. You not seeing a difference is good. I can see it now.
I think it looks best with no background-color. The boldface and smaller font size differentiate it enough for me.
