Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't notice any change from the first pair of links. I even refreshed each page after clicking.

That's because I'm an idiot and typed the wrong stuff. I mean this: [link] and [link]

That's a neat add-on, amy. Though it may be showing me a source of confusion. If I have t div class=theclassinquestion t p t a href="thelinkinquestion" linktext t /a t /p t /div shouldn't the effective class of the a tag be "theclassinquestion"? Both the add-on and my css tweaking say no, but I thought part of the point was that, yes, inheritable.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Still no change. What's the goal (as if I'll understand)?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I can see the difference between the two, and I think there may be a functional difference, but I can't tell what it is supposed to be.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

ita, the css.buffistas.net and map3 versions are identical - markers are transparent and skinny.

map.php on the main site has round markers in white boxes.

I'm running Firefox 2.0.0.14 on Tiger, if that helps.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

could we delete the "font color= white" option under the HTML formatting quickedit link if that's not going to make spoiler font for folks not using white backgrounds? Even though I know to use the quick-edit s now I am the sort of dork who might forget and copy and paste the HTML font when I'm in a hurry or perhaps drunk.

The code for the two is now identical. So if you're seeing something different, I'm not sure where to start debugging. I want you all to have Jessica's answer. Not sure where I'll go from there, but at least I'll know where I am.

Laga--I'll get on that.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

They still look different to me-- the first link markers have box type background, and the second link's don't. I will do a screen shot in a minute, so you can see what I mean.

First link [link]

Second link: [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's not the right first link--can you try map3.php instead?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm confused. My screen shots are based on this post ita "Buffistas Building a Better Board ++" May 11, 2008 7:11:05 pm PDT, in which map3.php is the second link and map.php is the first link. What should the first link be?
