I really hate the 1px solid grey line in #footer. I tried moving the line further down, but margin-top: in #footer seems to be ignored.

Is there a way to do a css tweak on how much blank space there is in each post? And if so, can someone tell me how to change it so that there is one less blank line at the bottom?

Including the default css would be great.
If we're talking about the same ugly line,
#footer { clear: both; text-align: center; border-top: 0; font-size: 90%; margin-top: 1em; padding-top: 1em; }
makes it go away. It takes the "0". You can make it less ugly by increasing margin-top.
