If the server hung it is likely the MySQL table is corrupt. You can run a 'check' on it easily enough, that should tell you. A repair is usually always safe to run if you need it.

As Laura and Jen said, the site's favicon is a smaller version of the capital B in the main logo (and the series logo). That said, I have noticed that browsers often get confused about which cached favicon goes with what site. A few of my Firefox bookmarks show the wrong ones, too. I have no idea on how to get them to display the right icon once they've gone astray. I suspect it may involve chanting and a gourd.
