Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just got an email back from support saying he's moved stuff over manually--can you verify?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I looked in at the DCistas admin interface, and it looks like everything's there now. Plus, there appear to be new features. How exciting!

The mailing list software should send out reminder messages on the first day of the month to everyone.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I got two reminders this time, if that matters. They're both timestamped 8:00am.

I just tried to close one of the experimental TV threads, and got this:

There has been an error. It's of the type we call fatal. Please don't be scared. You're not the one that's going to die.

Okay, where the $$&#&(@#& are the developers?

The same thing happened with all the other experimental threads, and also when I tried to close Goodbye and Good Riddance as an experiment. I'm guessing the new server doesn't like the code for some reason. (Although the automatic closing of Natter 51 seems to have worked fine.)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, got that error, too.

Also got an SQL error when I tried to move Bitches into the closed folder. And that happened right after the migration. Shoulda mentioned it then, but I saw something shiny and wandered off. Apologies.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

The problem there looks to be the ' after Buffistas in the thread description, which is breaking the MySQL query. Unless I'm wrong.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It looks like the global PHP setting that escapes the strings has changed, and that will need to either be reset or handled manually.

Which can't be done from here, so it'll have to wait.

Remember--if you see a bug, please look here and see if it already exists, and if not, report it.

Thanks.

Also, give me a heads up if you have any problems with that software itself.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh yeah, that was the other thing. I didn't get my registration email with password over there either. I think. Lemme go check to be sure.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah. I can't register to the bug site. Didn't get a password emailed to me; not in my spam filters, either.

Otherwise, I would bug the fact that I can't open a closed thread, either.
