Nooo. Don't leave yet, Kat!

I had an italian soda earlier.

Portos cakes are evil [link] I can't decide between the opera and the Parisian.

I need to cut back on the soda. Even if there is neither sugar nor caffeine in it.

No obligation for my friends to feel compelled to pay for a dinner that is too pricey or to buy me gifts. So it works out better.

Now I feel guilty.

The Parisian. It's chocolatey without being overwhelming and the chocolate whipped cream ROCKS.

Why do you feel guilty, Lee?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Who are you going to keep in there, Perkins?

You people are making me want cake. Stop that.

Because I am celebrating, and want people to join me.

That's very thoughtful of you.

I... was not so much. But there's only a small group of us now who deal with each other's b-days. And we're all fairly lazy, so it's pretty much cards and dinner. With the odd, random gift if it happened to plant itself in front of someone who had to buy it for someone else because it was just too perfect not to. They tend to be silly.

However, we're not as good about cake. We should be better.
