Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

The Parisian. It's chocolatey without being overwhelming and the chocolate whipped cream ROCKS.

Why do you feel guilty, Lee?

Dude, you're at a Milestone Birthday. Those should DEFINITELY be celebrated!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Who are you going to keep in there, Perkins?

You people are making me want cake. Stop that.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Because I am celebrating, and want people to join me.

That's very thoughtful of you.

I... was not so much. But there's only a small group of us now who deal with each other's b-days. And we're all fairly lazy, so it's pretty much cards and dinner. With the odd, random gift if it happened to plant itself in front of someone who had to buy it for someone else because it was just too perfect not to. They tend to be silly.

However, we're not as good about cake. We should be better.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh, yeah, the rosemary chicken thing... I guess I was skimming.

For dinner I had taquitos. That I went to get in these [link] . Thanks to taco shop drive-through windows...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think for birthday, there should be cake(s). The rest is negotiable.

See, my last birthday, given that it was my jesus birthday, was a milestone one for me. But now, I won't have another milestone for a while.
