Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What a pointless feature. Sorry you got harassed, sumi.

I was looking at the latest Nike Women's promo. I'm not entirely sure what the "hips" portion has to do with anything, but the "legs" one did make me tear up. I've read criticism of that and the Dove ads ("they're not fat!" which makes me wonder what TV stations/magazines/movies the complainer is exposed to...) but I find them refreshing. Sure, they're exploiting insecurities, because they're ads, but still. New body shapes.

some people consider frigging a curse.

Some people should never live in Ireland.

Always Anti-fascist!

I called myself an opinionated cuat today in a comment(because unlike the squad, I preferred it to twunt.) We'll see what he says...I felt very Eve Ensler about the whole thing.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I like the Nike ones better than the Dove ones.

The Dove ones make me think of How to Get Ahead in Advertising, because I'm a paranoid fat chick.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Jilli, you could try this site: [link]

I know it's one of the tools the HR department at work uses and when I tried it out about a year ago to see how much I was worth and I seem to recall it takes a whole bunch of things, including experience and location, into account, so it should be fairly accurate.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Were you edit or test when you were blue before?

Test. And my manager isn't in today, so I can't ask her. I think I'm just going to add $3 to my current hourly rate.

The Nike ones get me harder because of the relatives I have that think they're fat when really they're blessed with muscle I'd kill to have, and they think they're ugly, and they'll play soccer but never do a pushup or throw in a ball (she used to be a goalie!) because their shoulders or arms will get bigger, and ... I mean, if you're going to accept your body, you should at least understand it and why it's not like Calista Flockhart's, you know? Just because you can pinch it, it doesn't mean it's fat. Just because it's fat, it doesn't mean it's bad.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Gah, so much left to do, and here I am sitting at the computer...lazy is what I am.

What is even happening?

You, err, didn't fill them in on the meaning, did you?

It's a cultural thing. For the family from the Maritimes, frigging is about as much of a curse as darn, shoot, fudge, etc. It's a place holder. Even the little kids say it.

Some people should never live in Ireland.

Hee. Well, the family is Scots-Irish, but still, yeah.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I like the Nike ads and I also really love the Dove ads. Not enough to buy either products, but there you have it.

I love the knee one for Nike. "So I tripped her. 'I'm there for you, sister.'"

Right now, I'm cleaning my closet out. It's oddly sad and liberating.

Good bye size 6 Ann Taylor dress I wore to college graduation.
