Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

What is even happening?

I'm sure it sounds affected, but since I really am using it completely unconsciously, I can't help it.

Yep. Same for me, along with "bugger", "bloody", and "wanker".

Same here. I can't remember not saying "bugger."

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Jilli, can you ask your manager what you should put in that slot?

Were you edit or test when you were blue before?

I use bugger and bloody, but I picked them up from my potty mouth mother. Also, a long, hissed form of shit, which appears to be how all the females in my family say it, per my BiL.

I've mentioned that my mother doesn't get that some people do consider "hell" to be cursing, right? And that she thinks they're just being silly or coy, and what the hell is wrong with them, it's a perfectly fine word, and for that matter, so is (insert cuss here).

Art Crawl!!!

DX - that must be what happened. What a nasty feature.

My family was shocked *shocked* to realize some people consider frigging a curse.

You, err, didn't fill them in on the meaning, did you?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What a pointless feature. Sorry you got harassed, sumi.

I was looking at the latest Nike Women's promo. I'm not entirely sure what the "hips" portion has to do with anything, but the "legs" one did make me tear up. I've read criticism of that and the Dove ads ("they're not fat!" which makes me wonder what TV stations/magazines/movies the complainer is exposed to...) but I find them refreshing. Sure, they're exploiting insecurities, because they're ads, but still. New body shapes.

some people consider frigging a curse.

Some people should never live in Ireland.

Always Anti-fascist!

I called myself an opinionated cuat today in a comment(because unlike the squad, I preferred it to twunt.) We'll see what he says...I felt very Eve Ensler about the whole thing.

I like the Nike ones better than the Dove ones.

The Dove ones make me think of How to Get Ahead in Advertising, because I'm a paranoid fat chick.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Jilli, you could try this site: [link]

I know it's one of the tools the HR department at work uses and when I tried it out about a year ago to see how much I was worth and I seem to recall it takes a whole bunch of things, including experience and location, into account, so it should be fairly accurate.
