It also appears on the cover of this bookOh, pretty.
I am quite the fan on the brass ring line too. I mean, I don't in general like "lines" but I do like a witty way with words and the edges are kinda blurry sometimes.
As are my synapses. Bedtime.

and after the kiss he confessed his ignorance by noting that the screen usually fades to black at this point
I was just ranting about this a few days ago. Not to drag Firefly out of its own thread, but I've often thought that the sci-fi/fantasy trope of sexual training is brilliant! I would so take some classes. It's like martial arts: you can get the concept from reading books, looking at pictures, and talking to people, but you really need to practice with a partner (or more) to get good at it.
Anyway, my own issues there, and I've lots more to say on the topic, but I think you will do fine with the first kiss. And the lead-in is the really fun part. And I hope you get the chance for both this weekend!
Oh Trudy, you hickey hussy.
I'm shocked you'd jump right to the biting, billy.
(not)
Kiss THEN nibble.
I just finished reading Rats saw GOD. Trying to figure out why YA books ( and shows like BTVS) have such an emotional cathartic effct. I think it is because the emotions are so pure. When it is done poorly, it feels really ugly. But when it is done well such as the one I just read or Speak and ZigZag I feel refreshed after I read them.
ION there was a strange kitty outside. Close to the 15-17 pounds of my cat. Percy was clawing at the back windows - so I turn on the light and saw the other cat. I just went back to what was going on - some how my cat has smuged and left claw marks on the slider. The other cat is gone.
Helloooo, anybody home?

Gus, I don't know how to address loneliness. Although the Buffistas often make me feel a little less alone.
Is there a specific event that triggered this?
Gus, I can't tell if you're mad at the world, or mad at the board. I hope you're okay.

On a totally different track, or maybe not... The Po River is wasted, dude.
ROME (Reuters) - The mighty Po river is not only Italy's longest. It also may be the highest, at least judging by the amount of cocaine coursing through its waters.
Italian scientists, trying to develop a new way of measuring levels of drug abuse, tested the river's waters for excreted cocaine, and for its main urinary metabolic by-product benzoylecgonine.
They say that the equivalent of about $400,000 worth of cocaine was flowing through the 652 km-long (405 mile) river every day.

(Tiny, but worth watching. And yes, there is sound.)
Gus, I asked you what was up, and then I went to bed. Sorry -- I didn't ditch you; it was just after midnight and I had to get some sleep.
In any case, I get the lonely, man. I sure do get it. And it sucks. But, for me, having invisible friends on the other side of the computer screen (you all ARE in there, right? RIGHT???) helps a LOT. I hope it's some help for you.
