I used to like vinegar. Then it started doing something weird to my mouth and leaving a horrid aftertaste.
in 4 days I shall be in Canada, Land of Being Offered Vinegar (or Gravy!) With Fries As A Matter Of Course.
For me, just two, but I'll be going for the mayo.
My OTS: spinach, blue cheese crumbles, avocado slices, grapefruit bits, thinly sliced rare steak (cold), italian dressing.
I was trying to watch The Job when it was broadcast, but it was really hard. It was on ABC, which I had awful reception of at the time, and kept moving around and disappearing and reappearing without warning. I recently finished watching the DVDs and am said that I"ll never find out what happened to those people. Those terrible terrible people with bad habits who made poor choices.
(I think you mean Conga, Hec)
Thanks for the -ma.
I survived the meeting and it went fairly well. Once people arrived from the wrong address that I provided to them (doh!) and I explained why the date was wrong on the agenda, things improved greatly.
*sigh*
"Those terrible people who had bad habits and made terrible choices." You say that like it's a bad thing. ;)(Most of them are firefighters on Rescue Me now, I think.) Yeah, I think I'm gonna have to watch it now.
Oh, I loved The Job (what I managed to see of it, as ita point out.) You will too, Erika. I'll have to track down the dvds.
Mmmm, brown gravy and fries. I first heard of that when I saw the movie DINER and immediately tried it at the local greasy spoon (the late Charlie's Cafeteria in Kenmore Square, where Myles Standish Hall went when there was a 3 am fire alarm) - it was teh YUM!

My husband, when he was a small child, would go to the Zellers (discount department store in Canada) restaurant with his mom and ask for "fies gavy peas". (translation: Fries with Gravy Please). I had a similar experience going to the Sears restaurant with my mom. As a result, fries with gravy is comfort food for us. Probably not a good thing.
